The Stadium Bowl in Tacoma, Washington, has a rich history dating back to 1910 when it was originally constructed as a wooden stadium. In 1913, it was rebuilt using concrete and became one of the first modern-era stadiums in the country. Over the years, it has hosted numerous sporting events and has become an iconic landmark, offering breathtaking views of Puget Sound and serving as a symbol of Tacoma's community spirit.
The Tacoma 10,000 Rats have etched a remarkable journey in recent years. Starting with their consistent performances in 2018 and 2019, where they secured 7-6 records and made playoff appearances, their determination was evident. In 2020, they elevated their game, finishing with a stellar 10-3 record and claiming third place, though they faced a semifinal loss. The turning point arrived in 2021 when they posted a 7-5 record, clinched the first-place spot, and proudly secured their first championship title. Building on this newfound success, they continued to impress in 2022, again finishing first in the regular season with a 6-6 record and successfully defending their championship, solidifying their status as a dominant force in the league.
